Regarding moderation & occasional lack-of-response on startup list: I
feel like the onus is on each Free Geek (franchise, affiliate or
startup) to fly their own balloons. No secret it's a lot of work
starting/running a Free Geek. Keeping it somewhat laissez-faire breeds
initiative. It's more a collaboration that way, & lighter on the
propagation. We all care about each other's endeavors and want to help
each other succeed. But there are only so many hours in the day.
I like Richard's definition, with one addition: the 'Intergalactic'
list, while devoted to official-esque FG day-to-day, would be open to
anyone. That way, franchises/affiliates would have a place to talk shop,
& startup list folks could benefit from the conversations there too, if
they chose to subscribe.
