Hello all,

Phew, a minute to sit and actually communicate!  My name is David
Repa, and recently(last weekend) I was fortunate enough to visit
FG-PDX, and was amazed at what I saw.  For some time I have wanted to
start something similar but was unsure of how to go about it.  I was
amazed and impressed at what I saw at 1731 SE 10th.  I left with a
promise to myself that I would give it my best go to do the same(or
pretty darn close) back here in Vancouver, BC.

My background is actually in automotive recycling, but computers have
always played a major role in my life.  I am looking forward to
reading the various articles available from the wiki, and talking to
like minded folk on here.  I know already that this is going to take
awhile, and I will be eager to share my developments with all of you.

I hope to take some time off my current job to spend some quality time
back at FG-PDX, and getting some experience there.

Thanks to all the people at FG-PDX who took time from their busy
schedules to talk to me, and answer all my questions.
