Hi John,
That's great news!
Free Geek actually has an email list and various materials to help
startups. I'm copying this message to them, but you can join the list
yourself (or view the archives) at: http://lists.freegeek.org/mailman/
listinfo/startup also, there's an overview of the process for
officially starting up a Free Geek here: http://wiki.freegeek.org/
index.php/Getting_Your_Own_Free_Geek_Started (I'm not certain how up-
to-date that page is.)
I have not been very active with Free Geek lately, but it may be that
someone can come down to talk with your group after some preliminary
steps are taken. I might be able to do it myself, but hopefully
someone with more recent involvement can do so. So let me know if
nobody else expresses interest, and I'll see what I can do. (I'm not
on the Startup list.)
By the way, I'm sorry I never got back to you about the people in
Lincoln City who wanted to do a startup. I asked around, and it seems
we lost their names and contact info.
Good luck!
-Pete
