[freegeek-startup] Freegeek in Corvallis?

Hello,

Peter suggested that I post here.

I am in the middle of a discussion in Corvallis Oregon about starting up a
freegeek locally. Given our proximity to Portland, it would be interesting
if we could be a "chapter" like the Corvallis chapter of the SAO.
(http://www.sao.corvallis.or.us vs http://www.sao.org )

But even if that pathway is not clear, there is a conversation about
freegeek in corvallis that we would like
to have. I would like to get someone from freegeek to come down to corvallis
to participate in a discussion
with the MWVLUG and any other local groups that want to support the
formation of a freegeek.

Having an "anchor speaker" will help us increase the initial energy at the
start.

Is there anyone who wants to come down for a conversation?
