Here it is. Typeface for the city name is Bitstream Vera Sans bold at
20pts at the given size (this of course will vary with additional
scaling), tracked out as far as seemed reasonable for the wordlength and
centered under the words "FREE GEEK". I'm not sure what PDX used for
"FREE GEEK" originally; for the SVG, I hand-traced the letters. The
bottom inner-curve of the G is actually slightly distorted, but I opted
to leave this defect in so as to discourage anyone from using the logo
at a size so large that it's obvious (which would be pretty garish in
the first place given that it's a logotype, is big and blocky, and
fairly high-contrast!).
And also because I'm lazy.
Or, for a rational excuse:
Given my design education, I find logos interesting, but given my
semi-rejection of design culture itself, I also consider them strictly
functional. No sense splitting pubes. ;)
